The Calm to her Storm - Christine and Josh Omni Parker Boston Wedding

Getting to know couples is probably one of the best parts of my job.  I don't just close the deal and then that's it until your wedding day.  If you want to hang out, I'm all in!  I love to learn everything about my clients.  And I'm an open book for them as well.  So when the stunning Christine and Josh came knocking on my door, I knew we were a match made in heaven.  We met, they hired me, and then the friendship blossomed. As the year passed and the three of us hung out more there was something I noticed about this particular couple, besides being madly in love.  They kind of reminded me of myself and my husband.  To say that Christine is friendly is an understatement!  She is personable and vibrant!  I mean it.  This girl is what I like to call a "Sparkly Bride".  She lights up a room when she walks in.  She has a certain fire to her...she is stormy.  Not dark and stormy...just full of life!  And Josh...well, he just gets her.  During the many times we got together prior to their wedding I couldn't help but watch how Josh would look at Christine.  He was quiet, but not shy.  An observer so to speak.  They say it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for.  I felt like he would protect Christine at all costs!  When Christine would speak, Josh would smile in this sort of way that would keep Christine balanced and calm.  (Very much like my husband does with me still to this day)  He is the calm to her storm.  And in turn, she is the light that guides him.

Christine and Josh were married on August 12, 2012 at the Omni Parker House, in downtown Boston.  Everything about their wedding was perfect.  They were surrounded by friends and family for their ceremony, which was just beautiful.  Led by Rabbi Joe Eiduson, he wrapped the couple in Josh's grandfather's Tallit while they were presented to their guests as husband and wife.  Their ceremony was a blast especially because I was able to photograph my first hora dance.  You'd think that being Jewish myself I would have done that before.  (I'm the Jew that gets the tree so you do the math) :-)  Everyone danced the night away to one of my favorite DJ's Dan Sky and everyone toasted with signature cocktails also in honor of Josh's grandfather.  It was a great night!

And the best part is, I get to be friends with them after the fact!  Congrats Christine and Josh!
