Liberated and Intense Images for Liberated, Intense People

I think you are just beachy - Tim and Megan's Sea Crest Beach Resort Wedding in Cape Cod

My motto when it comes to photographing weddings is this.... I work with what you give me.  If you give me your all, your heart, your soul, your crazy, your wild side, your vulnerability....I will return the favor with images that show that.  I will also let you into my life as well.  When I meet a client for the first time, they usually come to my home office.  They almost always meet my kids and husband.  We hang out; A LOT before your wedding, if you want to.  Lots of personal time.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my way of collaborating with my clients.  It's the way I have always done it.  It works.  But every so often things don't work out the way I want and I don't get to physically spend time with my couple until the wedding day.  To be honest, this has only happened once.

Enter Tim and Megan.

Only two Skype meetings and BOOM...WEDDING TIME!

I was so nervous to meet them but the second I walked through the door I knew this was going to be a match made in heaven between the three of us. It had felt as if I had known them a lifetime.  I do believe that having an hour and a half Skype meeting a week prior to their big day helped immensely.

Tim and Megan are both New Yorkers who found me through one of my first brides.  Their wedding was more on the traditional side of things but their personalities were anything but that.  They were fun and wild.  Family is everything to both of them.  Megan's Irish family and Tim's Italian family let their hair down for me and my second shooter, Vanessa, and we have the images to prove it.  Their ceremony was held at the St Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth, on Cape Cod with a reception BASH at the Sea Crest Beach Resort & Hotel, also in North Falmouth.  Megan got ready at her  childhood summer beach house, surrounded by her family and amazing clan of bridesmaids.  From there, Megan told me to follow her and her father to a dock so that they could have some father daughter alone time.  We did some formals there and then off to the church, where I met Tim for the first time.  Of course, no one told me that he was an identical twin and I thought his brother, was him at first.  So I made an ass of myself.  ;-)

After the ceremony we crashed a pubic beach for some formals and then it was off to the Sea Crest for a serious party!  I swear, that dance floor was so packed I felt like I was in a mosh pit at a Dead Kennedy's show.  The band, Hip Pocket Orchestra, was off the hook!  The floor was packed until the very end of the night.  I needed about two days to recover from THAT wedding.  And believe me when I tell you, they were soooo worth it!

Megan and Tim, you know how to throw one hell of a party.  I was honored to be allowed in.
