Jack's Philadelphia Practice Session

Nothing makes me more excited than spending a little time with my bar/bat mitzvah to be kids for the first time. That is why a practice session is an excellent way to get to know my “kids” months before their actual day. A perfect example is my session with the one and only Jack, or as I like to call him, Jackie Blue. If you are a child of the ’70s, you know the song well. If not, google it!

On a chilly fall day, I headed down to my hometown of Philadelphia and spent a lovely afternoon with Jack and his family while we walked, talked, and got creative. Stay tuned for his bar mitzvah blog post because it’s pretty awesome too. But not as excellent as my friend Jack!

If you haven’t been to the Magic Gardens in Philadelphia, you are missing out. I used to hang out with the artist’s son back in the 80s, and 90’s when Isaiah was working on this masterpiece. Do yourself a favor and get a reservation and GO GO GO!
