A Perfect Fit - Maya and Jason at the Sheraton in Framingham

Maya and Jason stepped through the front door of my house a little less than a year ago to inquire about wedding photography.  They were both quite shy, but so lovely.  They had told me they wanted something "different" from what they had seen in terms of wedding photography.  When they told me more about their day, I wondered if I would be able to pull it off.  I think before Maya and Jason, the largest wedding I had shot was maybe 200 guests.  When they told me they were expecting about 400 guests, I tried to act calm but inside I was sorta freaking out a bit.  400 people?  Can I do that?  They wanted a Goof Booth™ too.  Oh boy, I started to get nervous.  I kept a straight face and in my heart I knew we were a perfect fit. Maya and Jason believed in me and I believed in them.  I believed that I could take this beautiful couple, who met online, and break a little bit of tradition in them.  They were all in.  They were willing to take a chance on me and I'm ever so grateful for that. Maya and Jason were married on September 22nd, 2012 at St. Julia's Church in Weston.  Their wedding was based on Catholic Faith and had elements of Indian traditions throughout.  (Including a formal list of 40 set ups... a first for me, talk about pressure.  But super fun!)  :-) After their ceremony we headed over to the ballroom at the Sheraton in Framingham.  There was tons of dancing, lots of toasts, a milk ceremony and a hilarious Goof Booth™ you can view by clicking HERE. Check out their beautiful day which could not have happened without the help of my two additional shooters and buddies Maura and Helen.
