Breaking the Mold: How My Senior Portrait Sessions Stand Out

When it comes to senior high school portraits, I’m all about ditching the trends and helping each teen discover their own vibe. Social media might have everyone doing the same poses, but here, we’re breaking out of that bubble. I love collaborating with each student to figure out if they want something edgy and editorial or something more natural, like a beach or forest backdrop. Then we do a mix of shots they want and shots I envision, and by the end, they’re usually loving the results that are a bit off the beaten path.

And because it’s the season, I’m currently booking up now for senior sessions! All of my packages include high-resolution edited files, and I can absolutely travel or shoot at golden hour for that perfect light. We can use a studio or head out on location—whatever fits their style.

Oh, and here’s a fun twist: I also offer group bookings where friends can join in. Each student gets their own individual gallery, plus a sub-gallery for all those fun group shots where they can be each other’s hype squad. It’s a blast and definitely helps everyone relax and have a great time.
